THE LEAK AREA
• Have pool filled to its normal operating level
• Filter system should be turned off prior to
using the Leak Detective
• Go to the area in the pool where you suspect
the leak might be

PINPOINT
THE LEAK
• DO NOT pour dye directly from bottle
• Use filled dye tester to apply a small ribbon
of dye within 1/4” of suspected leak areas
• The concentrated dye will travel towards
the leak
